Starting My Photography Adventure:
Hello Friends,
Welcome to my very first blog post! Picking up a camera and deciding to start a photography business has been one of the scariest yet most thrilling decisions of my life. I want to share with you not just the glossy, picture-perfect moments, but also the real, behind-the-scenes story of this journey.
When I first thought about taking my photography from a hobby to a professional level, I was full of doubts. Can I really make it? Will people like my photos? The fear was real, just like the excitement. But as I met more people, worked with them, and captured their stories through my lens, something amazing happened. The fear started to slip away.
Each person I photographed brought a new story, a new challenge, and so much kindness that I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed—in a good way. I never dreamed that I would find such a warm and welcoming community through my camera. These experiences have touched my heart and taught me more than any class or book ever could.
Taking pictures for a living is just part of my life, though. I also have a full-time job in human resources and marketing. Plus, I have a family and a partner who need my time too. So how do I keep all these balls in the air? It's a bit like finding the perfect light for a photo—adjust until everything looks just right.
Here are some ways I keep everything balanced:
Making Lists: I jot down what needs to get done so I can keep track of everything.
Planning Ahead: Setting up my week in advance helps me know what to expect.
Being Okay with Surprises: Sometimes things don't go as planned, and that's alright.
Relying on My Support Team: My family and my partner are my cheerleaders. They help me keep everything running smoothly.
Remembering the Passion: At the end of the day, I do this because I love it. That joy keeps me going.
This blog will be my space to share the ups and downs, the tips and tricks, and the beautiful moments that come from both my work and my personal life. I hope you'll tag along for the ride and see where this path takes us.
Let’s capture life’s moments together, one photo at a time.
Cheers,
